This project consists of three animated videos inspired by real WhatsApp conversations. Each video centers on a discussion between me and a close friend or my sister, where we reflect on a specific WhatsApp exchange: the first between a friend and her Tinder match, the second between me and a date, and the third between my sister and her ex-partner. These meta-conversations highlight the social texture that emerges within digital communication, showcasing how relationships—whether friendly, familial, or romantic—are mediated and processed through electronic interactions.
By offering a glimpse into the genuine emotions and dynamics that unfold within these exchanges, the project provides insight into how modern relationships are navigated in digital spaces. Through abstract motion and layered narratives, Online captures the complexity and intimacy of contemporary communication within the confines of a smartphone.
